About Gabe Sklar
Experience
I have been acting for over 10 years and have appeared in several commercials, in Burn Notice, and the 2024 feature film, Summer Camp. I have also performed in many local theatre productions and wrote and directed a short dark comedy in 2023.
Skills
In addition to acting, I am also skilled in writing and improv. I have performed with The Second City teen improv troupe for 4 years in Los Angeles, California and have studied improv at The Groundlings in Los Angeles, California.
Training
I am currently a Senior at New World School of the Arts. I attended French Woods Festival of the Arts summer camp in New York and the Acting and Performance Summer Institute at UCLA. I have training in scene study, cold reads, acting for the camera, and acting for the stage, and I am currently taking classes in the Meisner technique, Shakespeare, and voice-over.
